This is an interesting find. It’s a letter that is postmarked on Dec 7th, 1942 with a graphic depiction of two submariners - Merritt D. Graham and Daniel Cullinane.
It’s address to Mr. James Cass, Jr in Hyde Park, Mass.

Submarine. Postmarked on the first anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Raised print “In Memoriam” cachet by Ron Dennis. The submarine was lost off Kiska Alaska earlier in the year. Franked with a 1.5 cent prexy stamp. Overall toning and edge wear, a fine cover. just passing it along…Here is the link to the Memorial Grunion letter cover
Hi….my great-uncle was Merritt D. Graham and I have long searched for info about him…..I’ve looked for this letter on E-Bay but had no luck…….If anyone has info on my great-uncle I’d appreciate hearing from you……
