Everyone,

Yesterday Mr. Nobles sent me a newspaper clipping from 1995 written by the daughter of Carson Raymond for a newspaper in CT. It provided her married name and an outdated phone number-however it was a great lead and I was able to talk to her today. I wanted to say Thank you to Mr. Nobles and point out that many of you might have the odd article or other information colllected over the years that may help find the missing families. If you find anything that might be a lead feel free to post over to me- my address is in the post above just put Grunion in the subject line. Have a great day all!

Ms. Crawford,

Great! Thanks. Since Vickie has been working on Clift I told her about your post so you'll probably be reading a post from her soon. She may have found something else that might help. Is this SF-180 a request for the service record or is it something else entirely? We can use any help finding these guys you want to provide! Feel free to contact me privately at rrrstarATwmconnectDOTcom replacing the AT and DOT with the respective symbols of course.

If no-one has "adopted" John Clift Stewart, I would be happy to submit a SF-180, Request Pertaining to Military Records from the National Personnel Records Center and pursue research through the Kansas State Historical Society and my genealogist contacts there in search of his relatives.
