Schedule changes:
It now looks as if the Aquila will arrive at Seattle July 21st This is very encouraging as it provides adequate time for 4 days of demobilization and time for maintenance, DSSI is attempting to ship (The Max Rover ROV) by the 27th July and truck time across country 3 days so mobilization should be able to start about Aug 1st

The ROV Global Explorer will have a very high quality HD video camera (720p, 1080i and 1080p formats 120) and a 3 to 4 megapixel digital camera, some powerful lighting equipment and a manipulator.
The clarity in that area is about 30 to 40 ft and because of the temperature 32ยบ, and the low oxygen content at that depth the deterioration rate of the sub is likely to be minimal.

(Yataka’s newest sketch.)
The plan is also to get a bathymetric navigator which along with some software will provide a 3d image of the bottom, the sub, possibly some debris and the three Japanese wrecks.
IJN ARARE (Hail)

We are pushing the limits of the ( bathymetric navigator 3d image) device so nothing is guaranteed.
