To add a comment I have previously made concerning Albert Ullmann (my uncle), his brother Joseph, just 2 years older than Albert died about 6 months ago and would have been so happy to hear his brother's ship was found. Uncle Joe served during the Second World War In U.S. Army and was very close to his younger brother. Sad that he died just a few months before word of the USS Grunion was found. Maybe they are together now in Heaven. I hope so. Again this is the niece of both of those fine service men. DMG

I just checked the website and saw the ROV being lifted onto the truck. This is so very exciting. Many of us have been calling each other just to stay in touch as the news of the Grunion unfolds.

Thank you and all of your family for undertaking this tremendous project. What a wonderful gift for so many people who for generations have been waiting for this moment. I only wish my father was here to see this, but I expect he is watching from a better place.

Respectfully,
