I am deeply moved by this experience. Carmine Anthony Parziale is the brother of my maternal grandmother, Jennie (Parziale) Lallo. My grandmother died in 1992. I know that she always carried Uncle Carmine in her heart. She told us wonderful stories of him as we grew up, and his official military picture was displayed prominently in her home. That same picture of Uncle Carmine is now displayed in my parent's home. How truly blessed we are that dedicated and caring people have continued the quest for answers regarding the USS Grunion. Thanks to all of you from a proud great niece of Carmine Anthony Parziale, Torpedoman's Mate, Third Class USS Grunion (SS-216)
