John called on a SAT phone with a rather poor connection. His message was that they were still in Adak but would leave for Kiska about 9 am today. It is about 24 hours to Kiska. The weather looks good so tomorrow will probably be some shallow water testing.
Newman Lanier, our webmaster, said that we had been getting about 200 hits per day until the article came out in Asahi shimbun. Then they jumped to 1200 per day.
