I apologize for the delay in getting this out today. Somehow I had a glitch in the email system. Stratos and I have been working on the fix for about 5 hrs now. I finally walked away, I had a hunch I should check all the settings such as password which is internal. I finally followed up on the hunch and that was it. Glad it was something easy, the system has been stellar all the way up.
John, glad to hear you made it in. We are in pea soup fog right now. My current ETA is around 1830-1845 ADT. I’m looking forward to getting in and establishing a game plan.
Should I assume you all will have eaten by the time we get in or should I plan on feeding everyone tonight?
I’ll have a couple of projects to accomplish before leaving Adak. Nothing too major at this point.
1. Main house heater motor. I will try and locate something that can be used and or modified to do the job. Fallback is small portables in all rooms that need them.
2. Servicing of engines and equipment. Normal routine stuff that could be done on the way out.
It sounds like Toshi would like to put the pole down and test the ROV close to town before we head west. If all checks out well we would raise the pole and secure all and depart.
