An interesting aside is going on.
A while ago a couple of 12 year old girls from Minnesota contacted me. They had read the article in Reader’s Digest about the Grunion and wanted to do a History Day Project on the subject.
Well, these two girls are extraordinary and they seem to grasp the fundamentals of this whole effort. Their display has been winning over and over.
Their next competition will be at the state level and is scheduled for Sunday April 27. It will be fun to see how far they go. . You will find their photo in the album under Maddie and Ashley.
Maddie and Ashley — Isn’t this fun!
Love your photos . Congratulations. You gals are great! Looking forward to working with you as you head on to State!

Hi Arnie,
I’m Newman Lanier and the webmaster for the ussgrunion.com. First off, let me say thanks for becoming a registered user of the site and your comment. About your comment (pasted at the end of the email), I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble reading the site because of the small print.
Have you tried increasing the font size of the text using the features of your browser? Try to find the ‘text size’ menu and try a larger setting. In Internet Explorer, it’s in the ‘View’ menu or in the ‘Page’ menu.
It’s important for our visitors to be able to enjoy your visits and reading the material on the site. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and please let me know if increasing the text size works for you.
I wonder if others are having trouble with the print size as well. Let me know by making a comment here. Thanks!

the test size is perfectly fine with me. I had accidentally increased the text size in the past- after having to set my computer again and had to figure out what I had done to get it back to normal.
