We are anchored off the old pier pilings in Kiska Harbor checking data. Some are stretching their legs ashore. (We did receive an OK for this from the Refuge manager back in May.)

1107 was taken on a 500m swath and shows Grunion very near centerline of the track lying on her starboard side. You can see the bow and periscope projecting up into the water column.

get one or two more good imagery pics we will shift to the I-9 area for

Things are looking good. Art’s email says it all. I have censored certain parts for obvious reasons. Of significances: The depth is well over 2000 ft which means that we will need a much heavier ROV (about 25,000 lbs) to actually determine what happened. That will not happen this summer.
